Japan #2

I know some of you misunderstood that i was only going to update 1 post of Japan because the previous post sounded like i ended the whole trip of updates, but no, i won't finish completing Japan updates until the last day!! So fret not :')

17th Oct:

After collecting our rental cars, we drove off to Nara (another city of Japan), and spent a whole morning with the deers!!

I remembered 5 years back when i was at the same Nara Deer Park, the deers weren't that ferocious!! They were cute and approachable. But this time the deers, maybe they grew older in a sense, became damn violent! They would "attack" you in groups, and even try to rip off your clothes/bite your flesh when you offered treats to other deers but not them!

I was screaming and running like mad, but it was still nice to be back there when this time there was Jon protecting me, even though at certain times he screamed along with me HAHAHA

^ They were addicted to this game whereby the person just press on any buttons on the vending machine while being blindfolded, and once the drink comes out, you have to try it even if it smells bad or good! This game got me laughing so badly ;)

^ These 2 pics were 5 years back when i was sec 2 during winter at Nara haha

A series of my terrified face right below....

Second series of my terrified face...

^ "I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE TREATS"

^ This deer was half blind :(

^ Ignore my fat face but this ice cream was SOOOO good, it's probably the best ice cream i ever tasted!

Be sure to get it at the entrance of Nara Deer Park, the ice cream stall is quite significant, so with a glance you'll know which stall to go! Get their milk cream ice cream with their special cone, that cone is what makes the entire ice cream 100 times better :') i wanna have one so badly now........

After Nara, we drove to Rinku Premium Outlet for shopping!!!

This outlet shopping sells more of high-end brands like Prada, Bally, Burberry etc. So basically without a credit card or exploding amount of cash, this is definitely not the place for you.

But i managed to get an adidas shoe from the adidas outlet at only 4,100 Yen (SGD 48)!!!!!!! TOO CHEAP RIGHT? I know, i was shocked at how cheap it was too!!! Wanted to get a Coach bag too, but after discount it was still around SGD 375, so nahhh.......

Ended the day with dinner around the city area!

18th Oct:

After breakfast at Kuromon market (again, because it's too near our apartment), we drove off to our first destination of the day - Katsuoji Temple!

^ Another favourite pic of us in this trip :)

^ All the pictures i took of the temple are so pretty?!?!

Next up was Waterfall of Minoo!!! :)

^ My favourite flower -Dandelion!!!

^ This kid fell but he was crying and laughing at himself the same time, so cute i can't help but to snap a picture!!!

Afterwards, we drove to a supermarket and did some grocery shopping!

^ Had this curry rice for lunch, and it was a mega HUGE portion none of us could finish our own.....

At night, we kids jogged to this sushi joint in the city area, and met up with my Godma for dinner!

My Godma is coincidentally in Japan for a one month road trip, and was AGAIN coincidentally in Osaka city, so i decided to meet her up for dinner! :)

This sushi joint is named Ichiba Zushi! Jon and his cousins love this place so much, they kept on emphasizing it's one of the best meals of the trip!

I found this place on the internet, and this tiny but atmospheric restaurant serves really fresh and affordable (considering their good quality) sushi! You just simply point out what you want on the menu, and the sushi chefs made them fresh on the spot over the bar! So everything you eat there is fresh and of tip-top standard! :)

After a filling meal, we walked back to our apartment and ended our day!

19th Oct (Monday):

My friends woke up to the first day of school, or another day at intern, but i woke up in bliss because i'm still on holiday!!! :')

Visited the Osaka Castle in the morning before we drove to the premium outlet again because the others still had some things they wanna buy.

^ This slide looks really fun but i was in white pants so i didn't get to play :(

Evening was spent at one of my current favourite places in Osaka: Shinsaibashi!!

Mega love this place cos it was so lively, vibrant, and so different from other places of Osaka that closes early! :)

^ Dinner was settled at Ichiba Zushi again because the sushi was honestly quite good!!

-----

20th Oct:

After checking out from our apartment, we spent the whole afternoon buying cartons of fruits (to bring back to Singapore), and feasting at one of the streets in Shinsaibashi! Left the place at around 4pm and took a bus to the domestic airport to catch our flight :(

Last day calls for some bimbotic shots in the middle of the road:

^ Jon said this scallop was really good! (I don't eat scallops)

This concludes my whole Japan trip!!!

I certainly wouldn't mind visiting Japan again if i can! If i ever do, i would like to go during their spring time when cherry blossoms fill up the whole country!!!

Winter in Japan in 2010, Autumn in Japan in 2015, so maybe, Spring in Japan in 2020? Come on.......can't deny that Japan has always been my favourite country since young :')

With this, i hope you guys have enjoyed both Korea and Japan's posts! Till then xx.
