By far my first time blogging at an unfamiliar place - Gleneagles Hospital.
Just last Saturday i was sitting outside the A&E department at National University Hospital, still in a terrible state of shock, and thinking "Wtf has actually happened?" I was juggling two handphones, helping you to inform your family and friends about your condition. Time is ticking yet i'm still there all alone. I was so worried my heart couldn't stop pumping so fast. Not worried to an extent that you might leave this world, but the worried that aches my heart cos even if this sounds not as exaggerating as others' condition may be, i really am still worried for the fact that you were in so much pain. And all i do was wait so aimlessly hoping that the next minute the nurse will push you right to my sight.
In case most of you do not know what has actually happened. But Jon (aka my boyfriend) has fractured his arm just last saturday when he was playing for his team in the Judo IVP competition. But few hours before, he attained CHAMPION for his individual game and i was really so proud of him. That feeling when everyone turns back at the spectator stand and tells me "Your boyfriend won!!!" was so good beyond words. And watching you unleash your true potential was such an eye-opener.
In the team game he was fighting against someone almost 10kg heavier than him. As unfair as it sounds, in the team game for such a sports, you have absolutely no choice but to fight with someone maybe heavier or even lighter. The guy threw him, and he being competitive, turned against his right according to his instincts, and there he landed on his right shoulder (landing on the back will be pronounced lost.) The guy made a double impact on him by putting his whole weight on his shoulder and pinned him for another 20 seconds. Just as i saw him in so much pain, i slowly made my way down the spectator stand not knowing what to do next. Jon was escorted to the paramedics, and when the medics removed his shirt, everyone was taken aback when we all saw his collar bone protruding out and he was screaming in pain. It was one big obvious bump. At that moment, my tears just fell out instantly cos i could really feel my heart ache.
He was sent immediately to NUH, and after 4 hours the doctor said that he could be discharged but on the condition that he has to wear the arm sling. To cut short a lengthy story, on Monday Jon visited the orthopedics at Gleneagles which my mom referred. The specialist said a totally different thing from what the doctors in NUH said. He actually needed an operation right away because his Clavicas has been fractured badly, and the bone has overlapped one another. In addition the bone is really close to the skin, which means if operation is not executed, one day the bone might just appear right outside the skin. Letting it heal by itself is impossible.
So right now Jon has just got down to the operating theatre. It might not be the riskiest operation, but i really sincerely hope that he will be all fine. I love you my dear please come back to me safe and sound.
So during this wait, i will utilize my time for my passion!
As mentioned in the earlier posts, i am embarking on one of my new phase of life - Internship at OCBC.
For the past 1 week or so, i have gotten used to sleeping at healthy timings like 11pm, up before the sun comes out, and eating regular and healthier meals. But the thing i hate about interning such a job is that i have to sit for up to 8.5 hours in front of a computer. Bad for the eyes and bad for the butt. I would say interning at my department is so far so good, at least i don't dread work!
So today i gave Jon a surprise by mustering my courage yesterday and asked my supervisor for a half day leave today. I was glad he understood my plight and granted me my request, so here i am to stay with Jon before he closes his eyes and right after he opens them. This is the least i could do.
Thinking back, my weekend felt like one of the longest. Jon's birthday was last friday, 13th. We decided to push ahead our celebration to 14th Sat after his competition to celebrate both his bday and winning. I even surprised him (very successfully) with my homemade Caesar salad and a handwritten card on his actual bday. I also booked an international buffet at Ritz Carlton hotel the next day. Bought him his Nike flyknit and A&F shirt as his gifts. All surprises and gifts was prepared. But the accident was something unexpected and unprepared. With tears on my face, he told me he would like to see and hear what i got for him when we were in the ambulance. It's funny how this guy is in so much pain, but he is enduring not for himself, but also for me. He knows i'm pretty emotional.
So all plans were cancelled. And our dinner feast was spent in a food court nearby his place after he was discharged last sat. The whole night he couldn't sleep well because of his arm, and needless to speak neither could i sleep well. Treated him for a meal at Sushi Tei the next day to replace it with the buffet. It was such a simple celebration, but i really thought I was just thankful he's still by my side.
28 February - my soulmate's birthday.
I think i have repeated my love for this girl everywhere, on instagram, on messages, and even posted dedications for her numerous times here. All i thought of repeating is, this girl is really a gem i swear, or rather my gem. How amazing when god decides to drop her beside me, listen to my woes, wipe my tears, feel what i feel, share my happiness, be bimbotic with me, and basically make me feel someone has my soul that no one else have. I love you babe, continue bitching with me at wee hours, continue having karma befalling on us, continue feeling hurt for me, continue understanding me at your tips, continue letting me explain to you sth without any words, continue loving me, and continue being my halfway bitch.
^ Brought her to Potatoe Head Folk as she has been wanting to try their naughty fries for quite some time. The burger wasn't that good to me because i got sick of it really fast. The fries might be appealing to most of you, but not to me either because of the cheese. We also got her a platform shoe from Windsor Smith knowing her love for those kind of shoes!
^ The celebration may not be grand but you know we don't need such to prove my love for you.
Just 1 week before my internship commence, Jon and i had our own time together to the land of smiles. It was a very much needed getaway before 12 full weeks at OCBC. He gave me such a great time, from tolerating my crankiness in the mornings, to helping to carry bags and bags of things, to taking care of me like a princess. Now let's switch roles my dear.

8 March 2015 - I witnessed a day full of blissfulness.
Kelly sis was the one who nicknamed me and my cousin PK (problematic kid), because when we were young and she brings us out, we'll always be asking for toilet or being choosy for our food. She literally calls me PK ever since and it feels soothing to ear haha. She's also the one who will grab my boobies and asked me what have i eaten to make them grew so well (personal preference). All in all i was always playing and kidding around with her, but on the day when she was getting married, everything feels so extra touching, and i feel so so happy for her that she has found the love of her life. Her hands is now entrusted to someone trustworthy and capable to make her everyday happy, i wish you happy marriage with Kendrick kelly sis!
First one to get married among my maternal cousins, way to go!!!
^ Early morning gate crash and solemnization! :')
^ Wedding night at Shangri-La :)
^ My cousins and I had so much fun at the photobooth!! So glad most of them flew back from Australia to witness Kelly sis's big day! Love the sight of everyone gathering xx.
I am somewhat done with my update, where are you my dear? Are you on anesthetic? Or are you still in pain? Please be alright, i'll be waiting for you right here.
Only 3 posts ever since 2015 has been kicked start :( I'm sorry it has become a monthly thing to update when i kept on saying i will find time to do so. But having to stare at the computer screen for 5 days straight makes me feel turn off if i were to face my laptop even on the weekends. But guess this is the chance to update now!
Hope you guys had a good read xx.
