Day 13: Woke up early in the morning and send Ivy to Melbourne Airport. She is going for a short trip around other parts of Australia with her friends. Thereafter, Jane, Carmen and I embarked on our trip to Great Ocean Road :)
We first alighted at Surf City, while we were on our way there, for some shopping. Surf city basically sells summer clothes and all kinds of beach wear brands like Billabong, Ripcurl, Roxy and many more. And to be honest, those have always been my favourite brands from young. So i got a bag from Roxy, and a unique tank pair from Ripcurl. I wanted to get another bag from Billabong, but the attitude of the lady there stinks. She just made me want to leave the shop fast, sorry Billabong, blame it on who you hired.
Then we continued our journey to Great Ocean Road. But things weren't that simple. It seems like a short journey from Surf City to the entrance of Great Ocean Road (less than 45 mins), but it took 1 long hour to Erskine Falls, and another 2 and a half hours to Twelve Apostles. Basically Great Ocean Road is a huuugggee place with many different famous tourists sights. But what we were interested in were only Erskine Falls and Twelve Apostles :)
And because i have been the one sleeping in the car during the past long car rides, i felt bad and decided not to this time round or else Jane would feel bored! So all i did during the long car journeys was chat with Jane or literally stare into space, while Carmen is snoring away at the back of the car...
^ So here we are at Erskine Falls! :)
^ Carmen took this candid shot while i was taking "Erskine Falls"
^ I like this picture of Jane and I :) So we grabbed some really yummy ice cream while Carmen was still sleeping in the car because she was experiencing motion sickness. No wonder they are a numerous awards winning ice-cream shop, their ice-cream are really delicious and creamy! :))
^ We decided to drop by the lower part of Great Ocean Road, which is the beach. And oh my god this is another beautiful beach i admire so much, just like Brighton beach. Though it doesn't have the bathing boxes, but this beach gives every tourists a very special feeling, and i think it will be a good destination for couples who want to just relax in one another's arms! And oh my, just take a look at the picture below...
^ Just look at how beautiful the colour of the sea is.... It is exactly like a paradise!
And finally after 2 hours...............WE REACHED!!!

The long car ride was totally worth it worth it WORTH IT! The view was so amazing, so beautiful, so picturesque. From any angles you see it, or any angles you take it, the view is still as beautiful. It is a lifetime regret if i never visit it during my stay in Melbourne.

Had dinner at a nearby cottage :-)
Thanks to Jane, who drove us there, or i'll never get to see such amazing sights :)

Day 14: A day spent with Jane. Went for brunch at Chez Dre, their tomatoes served were so juicy and sweet! I love it! Jane's set of breakfast was unique yet yummy whereas mine was rather ordinary though it still tastes good.

^ Their macaroons were a huge disappointment. Even Singapore's Antoinette's beat theirs.
^ Shopped at another outlet of DFO with Jane and Shermaine after we picked her up from school :)
Dinner was settled at Uncle Tony's restaurant :)
^ Have anyone in this world tried FRIED ice-cream!? Honestly, this was my first time! It was literally an ice-cream with a crispy, sweet and hot outer layer because it's fried!!!!! My favourite ice-cream from now, i swear the ice-cream is still as yummy after frying!
Visited Uncle Tony's crib after dinner. Their place was almost like a mansion. So huge, so spacious, high ceilings, indoor pool, 4 televisions, 3 living rooms, light operated by sensor, and huge garage. I literally wow-ed when i found out how huge their place was. But i still like their old home 6 years ago with a huge yard :)
End of Day 14! I'm left with the last day to update and farewell to Melbourne posts :(
School officially starts tmr, am dreading it so much. But oh well, this is a new chapter of life and i guess i should embrace it and make as much fun as it can out of it.
Goodnight everyone. I love all of you.
