Mel 2013

Day 11: This day was rather simple, we didn't go for any sightseeing, neither any particular fun place. Had breakfast at Tai Pan Dim Sum Restaurant. Their dim sum was not that bad, and we definitely left with a very full stomach. Went to Zukka to help out with closing and cleaning. Shermaine then brought me to Target and Chemist Warehouse to shop for certain beauty items i was looking for a long time. Dinner was settled at home afterwards.

We decided to catch a movie together that night, so we set up one of the room, and watched Step Up 4! While munching on grapes, we were also cuddling in bed together, so heartwarming. A simple day, but yet a lovely night :)

Day 12: Ivy, Jane and I went to pick Michael up from his hostel, and brought him for brunch at Las Chicas. It was a simple birthday celebration for him since his bday falls on that day. Head to Chinatown for some Target shopping again and Thai dessert.

Pick Carmen and Shermaine up after their school and off we go to St. Kilda Beach! St Kilda beach was.......nothing much. It was practically an ordinary beach, likewise our East Coast Beach. But the breeze definitely made up to it, and of course the company as well :-)

Had dinner at an Atas Restaurant by the beach, and their chicken salad and prawn aglio olio was indeed delicious. However the beef risotto i ordered was yuck. The beef tastes absolutely good, but the risotto was mixed with a strong taste of parsley, and i do eat parsley actually, but god knows why theirs taste extremely disgusting.

^ Caught the sunset :)
The fact that St Kilda Beach is so famous is because of its penguins. They do have penguins show at certain timings and they will let them walk up to you! However we were shivering cold when we walked out to the beach again, and felt like giving the penguin show a miss, so we did. But i do regret now. Should have went for it since i was on a holiday!! :(

Some updates on my dates these days.
2nd April: Met up with Sharon and we went for some shopping at Far East Plaza. Went for her hair dyeing appointment while i do my nails there. Had dinner at Pastamania afterwards and ooops we over-ordered and feel so full afterwards. Lingered around Somerset, and joined Yaorui and his gang for some karaoke session at Sembawang Shopping Centre upon their impromptu invitation!

This girl came over to my house for a stayover after our karaoke session that ends at 1am.
Woke up the next day, had lunch at Ajisen Ramen. Met Yeongsoon, and Sharon left for home, while Yeong and I proceeded to Mayflower. Had a great chat with Mr Vicknesh, though that wasn't our purpose of going there :)

Met Yeong for lunch today and he came over to my house to see Winnie girl. Hahaha, he was screaming away at how cute she is, and how much he loves puppies.

NYP Orientation Programme yesterday. To be frank, i don't really like making new friends in a new environment now. It feels like my usual bunch knows me best. We can talk about heartfelt feelings, joke about anything the next minute, and yet it isn't weird at all. That's how we can click so well. I feel like we know each other's humour, we know our needs, we know how to cheer one another up, we know when something isn't right. However in a new environment, i have to foster new friendships with new people, and perhaps build this kind of special bond between us like how i have with my fav friends. It feels weird because i already feel comfortable enough with them, and it will be weird to purposely foster with some people i don't want to or am not interested to spend my life with. Having my fav bunch is enough, having my love ones and whoever that matters to me is enough. I don't need more in my life, because they are true enough to me. No thank you because i feel weird with you all...
Though i feel i couldn't click well with most of my classmates, but at least SOME of them are still ok. Phew.

I failed my last appeal to the course i want to get in in Singapore Polytechnic, so i'm hereby announcing i am going to be in Nanyang Polytechnic. I don't even know if it is a happy thing.

Meeting Sharon again tmr, have been missing her.

Till then!
