End of June is approaching and i have yet to launch a single post under this month. Come to think of it, half of 2015 passed by just like that?!?!?! But no doubt, it has been my busiest year by far.
Having to juggle school, work, and quality time with my love ones, it hasn't been easy.
School (a.k.a Teaching Enterprise Project) for me was nothing but shit. I remembered a random soul telling me internship would suck but TEP will be fun. 4 weeks into TEP at E-Learning Development Centre already, but it has been nothing but a pure routine of clocking in at 9am, watching my dramas, lunching with my friends, and clocking out at 5.30pm.
So i'm here to conclude to those taking my course in NYP - Internship is going to be fucking good, but TEP, don't get your hopes up high.
Have been trying to dedicate at least one weekday after school to work at Froth, because i'm eager to earn and save more for lots of things i want to pamper myself, or the upcoming occasions/trips!!! With that said, i have barely enough time left for my family or Jon. Free time has now been allocated half to Jon and half to my family, if on occasions or days i have to meet my friends, then my fam/Jon have to sacrifice to see me lesser, or i would reject the idea of working that week. 24 hours a day is barely enough for me.
5th June - The complete squad was FINALLY able to gather together on KT's bday!! The last time all of us could do so was 2 years back during Nana's bday in Sept. Major love lepaking with them anywhere, even better this time at KT's crib. My favourite bunch, forever and ever.
There was a weekend when one of my paternal cousin's family came to Singapore for a weekend getaway! We brought them for some good steamboat at Hai Di Lao, did some GSS shopping, drove them for night views at Merlion/Gardens By the Bay, and ended the day with some beancurd at Rochor road!
14th June - Chean's Bday at Marina Barrage!! It was a good idea having pizza over the green (but damp) grass because it has been ages since we all had a picnic together! After which, it started to drizzle a little, and we decided to make impromptu plans for some drinks over Life of Liquor at Dhoby! Love the fact that we started appreciating time together over drinks in a pub.
In the past i didn't like the idea of a pub because i felt sitting down while drinking was pure boring. But now i realise i would forgo other plans for such times with them!! A sign that we are growing towards another milestone in life :')
^ I'll never forget that one impactful sentence you told me on the day things fell really hard on me. And also the day when you decided to pick me up from work even though i told you i'll be fine. Thank you so so much, with each year i'm always glistening at the fact that 5 of us are more knitted. I hope you girls will always be here for me, i don't want any lesser than the 4 of you.
^ Love this pic!!
Last weekend Jon and i had a really good date out together. And we were really elated at the idea of spending a good dressed up date out in town (because we don't do this often)! That Saturday was mere perfect :)
We started the day with his first time at Din Tai Fung! I always pestered him to try it but he was never willing to. Surprisingly that day he gave in to me, and he really love the food now too hehe.
Afterwards we went for Jurassic Park movie (yay to free tickets!!), and ended off the day dinnering with his family! It was a simple but really joyous day :')
Visited the Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar yesterday. It was my first year there and omg i just have to say i hate crowded and humid places.... Despite that we had lots of good pasar malam food, though we queued an hour for the Happy Rollies (fresh fried ice cream) and turns out that it tasted sooo ordinary like the $1 ice cream i can get at Wall's.
That's about it for this post! Hope everyone had a great weekend teehee, see you in my next one!
