Hi guys decided to do an update while i savour my green tea since i just had breakfast!
I hope you guys have read about the two short posts i have pen down from my phone.
I found out that ever since i got things thought through clearer the other day, everything around me instantly becomes more appealing and joyful. What i am trying to say is i find myself happier, and no longer hogging on my phone for a surprise, or feeling cranky out of nowhere. I feel more relieved, relaxed, and less tense that i feel so good before i head to bed every night nowadays. I love this feeling, and i love this new me.
And the other day i had a good and long talk with Trena about my insecurities, my family, and my dad's values. I wasn't even feeling upset about anything neither was i feeling like shit. We were merely randomly talking about some things and it somehow led to me. At that time i felt so much better, cos i realise i haven't pour so much about some matters i keep in heart. Sometimes there just isn't a chance to say them to anyone, and sometimes i feel there just isn't a need to say because it ain't affecting me THAT much. But that unexpected talk with Trena makes me feel so much better because it's feels like it's released, and someone is literally hearing me out :')

Saturday brunch date with Trena! Haven't had a one-to-one date with her in some time, glad we finally took time out to do so. Queued for an hour and 30 mins just to enjoy the affordable and tasty brunch at Lola's Cafe!
^ Got a matcha green tea latte which i think was quite good!!!
^ Trena had the Lola's Full Monty Breakfast which she fell in love with the sweetened bacons. And i had the Avocado Eggs Benedict.
I think i might be pregnant because recently i have been craving for some food that i have never liked ever since i tried them for the first time. Things like mayonnaise and now even avocado. Hated avocado so badly but that very day i didn't mind trying.....
My eggs benny was just pretty normal to me? Not caught by surprise when i had the first mouth and in addition the avocado had no taste at all haha!
But Trena and i shared the sides of Honey Paprika Crispy Wings! And it was TOO GOOD. My friend was urging me to try this sides if i visit Lola's cafe, and indeed it is their signature sides!!! Crispy and i like the not-too-sweet honey addition! Love love love that :)
I think we must have starved ourselves too much before Lola's brunch that i actually still had space in my tummy for some waffles. So right after, we headed for some waffles at Hatter Street that was also recommended by my friend, wanting! She knows my sweet tooth and my love for ice-cream paired with waffles. And let me put this point across clearly: I swear that the waffles from Hatter Street is by far the BEST waffles i have ever had in my entire life.
I mean that so badly. Their waffles is the god damn sex. You got to try them. But a pity the ice-cream they used were just ordinary vanilla ice-cream, but that waffles made up to everything!!!

Monday: Went swimming at Wanting's condo alone because she was having her period and couldn't join. Ba Kut Teh for dinner with her afterwards!!!
We went for the Founder of Ba Kut Teh at Balestier! And initially i didn't bear alot of expectations for this ba kut teh because the shop looks modernized, and in my opinion the best food like bkt always come from the dilapidated huts. But i was caught by surprise how the soup base and the entire bkt meal turns out!!!!! Maybe i was biased because i am always fond of peppery soups for ba kut teh! And that amount of pepper was just right for me, i love it so much! While wanting was more fond of herbal soups, i agreed to try Songfa next time with her! ;)
But if you're a fan of peppery soups for bkt like me, then you will love Founder of Ba Ku Teh!
And the other day when i was at work and two of some lovelies decided to drop by! First was Denise who then sat at Joob for 4 freaking hours just staring at her phone and me. Then was Yeong who walked in and started chit-chatting with me non-stop. But thankful for such friends who show me love in the tiniest actions :')

^ We had llao llao for dinner together and an impromptu movie "Cafe. Waiting. Love" at Cineleisure!
That taiwan movie was full of silly and nonsensical jokes, but i think this movie was not too bad!! I mean such silly yet hilarious romance movies are good sometimes :)
And Yeong dropped by the second time the next day. So sweet of him hehe.
This same day i had dinner with Germaine at D'Good cafe which the food sucks big time. Don't ever visit there if you are ever thinking to. Not only is the cafe a self-service (fetching of food all by yourself) one, but the aglio olio we ordered doesn't even taste like an aglio olio?!?! The pizza was equally worse. Don't even want to elaborate, but i seriously warn you to not visit them, you'll regret!
And that night TGIW with my poly babes! That night was quite bad because it was raining outside while we were drinking, and the dance floor were filled with inconsiderate and drunk guys. But the middle of the night turned out a little better :)

Last but not least yesterday! Finally met up with xuan before she leaves for the UK again. Had Swee Choon for dinner and a sudden decision to hit the cinema for the Maze Runner!
Maze Runner was so damn good?!?!?!?! The entire movie was so intense and exciting!!!! I had a mini heart attack at all the climax! Love this movie and i think everyone should go watch it!!! Can't wait for the next series: The Scorch Trails!!!
And it was a great night with xuan. Haven't caught up with her ever since she's back. Glad we finally did :')
Alright should better get going with my plan: A jog around the neighbourhood, shower, and head out!
Dreamt about a good friend i lost for the third time this month already. I actually secretly misses his voice when he rant at me over supper, misses his nonsence, misses his everything, but i just don't know how to talk back to him. Don't know if you'll ever see this, but i'm speaking about you Yao.
Hope everyone's having fun during their holidays be it slogging their hearts out to earn some cash, or spending good time at a different country, or even quality time with your love ones!
Will probably do one more update before i get on my short getaway next week ;)
