Chúc mừng năm mới 2014 (4)

Just got back from studying at Starbucks and decided to continue my Vietnam post before i throw you guys with my daily updates again.

Vietnam Day 4 (4th Feb, Tuesday) -

Coming to the end of the trip and i find it so amusing yet hurting that happy times always pass faster.

Got up at 6.30am, showered, breakfast in Hotel and boarded our bus to Ming Ping Village!

^ Toilet interval during our 3 hours ride!

^ Photo because i bought his shirt :)

Finally arrived at Ming Ping Village and i swear it is the first time i ever felt like a celebrity. Our tour guide did warn us that there will be a hell lot of people snapping pictures of you during your tour in the village because that's their strategy of earning your money. But it was really still unexpectedly crazy!

^ Daddy Mommy loves loves

^ I think the only exercise i did for the whole trip was probably trekking, walking and more trekking

^ Group photo of those who aren't lazy to make our way up!

^ Lunch before something excitinggggggggg!!! Oh the lunch was not that bad :)

^ THERE!
A boat tour! I must say this boat tour is pretty amazing! It is a long stretch of river and it takes 1 hour to the end and another hour back. Besides Ha Long Bay, i think this is the second time i am getting closer to nature. That feeling of sitting on a boat, bobbling on the water and moving through caves, hills, farms was a fantastic first-time for me. I was so glad this is the way to end one of my last day in Vietnam because i don't ever get to take a boat tour/snap pictures while i'm right in the perfect combination (the river and the green hills). I love it so much x.

^ Meet Yao! My best-est cousin of all. We can do anything and everything together and not feel weird at all. It's just amazing how we are of opposite sex and different parents, yet we are like biological siblings who can do anything together. I love him so much because he can always make me laugh soooo easily and i know there is no other boy who can make me happier than he does. I also know there is no other boy who can make me feel more comfortable with compared to him. Sends you a flying kiss Yao hehe

^ It's pretty cool how these villagers can row the boats with their feet and not just only the hands!!!!!!

^ Selfie alone because my Grandma's sister doesn't take selfies :'(

^ Dad and mom looking so cuteeeeeee

^ I bet there are no other panoramas prettier than this ;)

^ This adorable little girl tagged along her dad for work!

^ Sour mango

Now on our way back to the wharf! I personally think the view back to the wharf is much prettier!

^ The above 3 pictures are one of the few i am super proud of! hehe

^ Haha just look at Liweng! i cannot stop laughing at this picture everytime i look back hahaha

While our 3 hours bus ride back to Hanoi, we were back at the same place for toilet break! And i met the same waiter who served me, haha he's so cute with his wavy hair and charismatic smile ;)

Buffet at a hotel for dinner!!! I think this is by far the largest buffet restaurant i have ever seen and i am not joking at all. So many food ranging from Vietnamese Cuisine, Japanese Cuisine, Chinese food to BBQ food! I didn't know where to starting picking what i want to eat?!?! And of course our stomachs exploded before we managed to finish our food. But it was a grand and delicious dinner! :)

^ Their chee cheong fun didn't taste better than the one we tried at the street stall near our hotel during day 1! Street stalls' food are always da best~

^ Never give up on Pho hehehe
I was pretty disappointed with all the Phos i tried in Vietnam because i think it didn't taste as great as the first one i had in Melbourne when it was supposed to taste better since it is their local food!

^ Picturesque ferris wheel by the window :)

Never forget to snap fun shots with your love ones :)

^ Our tour guide for the whole trip aka Ah Zheng!

^ Bus ride back to our hotel and passed by an ice-cream shop which the locals said is the ice-cream champion in town! So of course it is against my conscience if i don't give up my diet to try it haha

^ There were only two flavours, Chocolate and Milky Vanilla!
Friends who know me knows i won't ever pick chocolate ice-cream.......so i had Vanilla and i think it was yummy!!! The plus point is that their cone was really crispy and tasty (tasted like crispy belgium waffles) unlike other normal cones!

Because it's the last day, and we don't want to end our time together so we took a cab to the city area. We were actually locating another cafe my cousin has been wanting to go, but after 1 hour of walking around we found it but it was closed. So we randomly pick another cafe and sat down for a chat and coffee :)

^ Refused to put ourselves to sleep because we still stupidly wish time would stop for the time being :(

End of day 4!

Hardcore revision these few days because i am always a last minute person for exams. Will continue to update this site when i've the time! Till then~
