Mel 2013

Day 9: Drove to Melbourne Airport to pick Jane up after her short trip to Brisbane, and we head for lunch at PHO again, however a different outlet. I tried their dry PHO noodles this time round and it still tastes as good!

Went for a short shopping at Smith Street since Ivy wanted to look for her sports shoes.

Drove down to Brighton Beach and spent a good 1 hour there snapping pictures, fighting against the wind, and chit-chatting :)
Brighton Beach was kind of an eye-opener for me. I've never been to a beach nicer than that. The bathing boxes look exactly like those in movies, the sand grains are as soft as a baby's skin, and the sky look so clear and blue! I really like that beach :-)
Too bad i was dressed in a wrong outfit for beach.......that was because i didn't know that was our plan!

Day 10: A day so packed with different sightseeing and activities :)
First up, we had Brunch at Snow Pony. Their croissants were so crispy and tasty!!!

 photo IMG_1012.jpg

^ We ordered the 'Giddy Up' to share since it's a huge portion, but it is definitely something delicious! Thumbs up for that!

Next we visited the sand sculpting "Under the Sea". Didn't really enjoy this part as i am not amazed by how they craft the sand into different sculptures...maybe i am a little, but not so much to an extent of WOW.

Then we drove down to Mornington for some sightseeing and hot spring. Visited the Arthurs Seat State Park first. The view was so picturesque but we just couldn't snap one picture that can do justice to it, because the woods and trees are so tall that they are blocking the view...

^ You get what i mean...

Snapping burst pictures with them became so hilarious and so much fun!

Everytime when we visit Melbourne, Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm is a must go, partly for their jams, but partly also because of their picking of strawberries. Though we didn't have the intention to pick it that day, we still went ahead there to enjoy their desserts since Sunny Ridge was on the way!

^ Forgot the name of this, but it taste marvelous, though i find it a little too sweet because of its additional strawberry sauce. But i do like its sorbet! :)

 photo IMG_1068.jpg

^ Panna cotta! It was a huge disappointment because the cream cheese has absolute no taste...

 photo IMG_1069.jpg

Next up was Cape Schanck at Mornington. The scenery was oh my god.............so god damn jaw-dropping, you will think you have entered into a 3D movie theatre only...
The ocean looks so clear & blue. When you gaze at the end of it, it looks like a never-ending ocean because you can't even see the end of it! You will probably only see the blue lining at what you think is the end. It just looks so beautiful!!! No tinge of regret if you've ever been there! :-)

They said let's make some really bombastic and exaggerated looks/poses, yet theirs were only normal..... So they decided to give another try! Just look at the next 5 poses Ivy made, Jane and I couldn't stop laughing whenever we look back!!!

The last place we went for was Peninsular Hot Spring! It is located at the top of the mountain so it feels so good to be able to soak yourself in a 41 degrees water with cold wind blowing at your face. That feeling is so awesome. And we were rushing there because we want to catch the sunset. It was said that there are different levels of hot spring, the highest one is the hottest and you are able to see the sunset!
So indeed it was 100% true! We caught the sunset, and it was an amazing view while you are in the hot spring! I love Melbourne so much :((

^ Didn't bring my camera along when we walked up because i'm afraid it will get into the water, and so i couldn't take pictures of the sunset and our surroundings :(
So i stole this photo from the internet. Though it looks pretty edited, but the surrounding, sunset, and the entire area is not kidding! There is such a place in real life!!!

Dinner was settled at an Italian Restaurant, and their pizzas taste so gooooood!!! The crust is so crispy and their chilli-dip-in sauce is so spicy yet so shiok!!!!

I miss Ivy, Jane, Shermaine and Carmen so much :( I wish i'm there with them now, i wish i'm there for Elise's full month birthday celebration, i wish i'm there to pat Olivia to sleep :(

Orientation camp at NYP tmr, mixed feelings about it. Because i am still waiting for the reply regarding my appeal, sighpie....

Tmr is officially the 9th, do you still remember this day last month?
