17/1/2013: Sasa's 17th birthday celebration! Birthday and friendships come together when we can no longer shout across the canteen tables, or head for our usual fix of lunch at amk hub....these are the times to truly catch up and not lose touch. It was definitely another great night sitting under a hut, playing our usual games. I miss those times.
^ We finally have a picture with just the 12 of us, while laughing away at the cute photographer, thanks Kwan Xun!
Hope Sasa enjoyed her celebration by KT and XY! :)
18/1/2013: Date with Sharon hunting for my one-piece swimsuit. Have always needed it because i can't possibly wear my bikini for swimming in public pools. Thereafter a trip to her Aunt's house to visit Aegon baby after Sharon's countless acts of how cute Aegon is. A night well spent chasing Aegon around in the house, when he finally let his guard down against me and took a picture without slipping away from my arms, hahaha :-)
^ Look at Aegon's cheeky face!
20/1/2013: Little shopping with Mommy, and grocery shopping at Causeway point afterwards. We made Japanese cuisine dinner that night at Godma's place, and it was a total success! Don't be deceived by the picture of the sushi Natsu made, to be honest, they taste really really good. As much as i hate mayo and tuna, it was a lovely combination with the crab meat, cucumber and egg!
^ Mom cooked bird's nest soup for dessert.
"If friendship were a piece of dress, it would fit so perfectly on every bulge and curve. And if friendship were a raspberry pie, it would bring happiness and sweetness to dull tastes. If friendship were a window, it'd certainly opened up my walls of vacancies." :)
As much as how i treasure friendships, i hate relying on people. Because i'm too sure of how i would end up. The moment i start leaning on the shoulder that's always there, i'll turn out to be an ugly person that both of us will hate. I'll start being pessimistic in hope for that person's concern. I'll start ranting everything and anything on my mind hoping the person will understand my trust towards him/her. I'll start telling every single thing he/she wants to know, hoping they won't feel distant from me. I learnt it all from all the previous lessons, and no one has proven me they won't get tired of me in a long run. And that's why at the end of the day i will always tell myself, you can trust your friends, you can build strong friendships with them, but don't apply the word 'rely', because you'll end up losing faith again.
This is just my perception and my lesson learnt, i do hope everyone out there has someone they can always seek and rely on in times of needs.
Till then!
